On this episode of Thursday Night Tailgate our guests are: Major League Football's VP of Business Development Rich Nichols, former Patriots Pro Bowl RB Tony Collins, former Jets, Bucs & Chiefs TE Anthony Becht, former Cowboys RB Sherman Williams and former Seahawks & Cowboys DB Ken Hamlin. We'll talk with them about:
Rick Nichols - We'll talk with Rick about their plans for the rest of 2016 plus how their stadium negotiations are proceeding and their community development plan.
Tony Collins - As a guy who went through his share of substance abuse issues during his playing days, what would Tony say to suspended Wide Receivers Josh Gordon and Martavis Bryant as well as Johnny Manziel to get them to change course in their lives? Is there anything that anyone can say to get through to them at this point? Hear Tony's thoughts and advice.
Anthony Becht - Anthony played for the Jets, Bucs, Cardinals, Rams & Chiefs. Hear Anthony's thoughts on players like Josh Gordon and Johnny Manziel who repeatedly end up in trouble. He also shared his insights on the Jets missing the playoffs least season and the Bucs firing Lovie Smith after only 2 seasons.
Sherman Williams - Sherman played 5 season with the Dallas Cowboys before marijuana distribution and fraud charges cost him 15 years in Federal prison and his playing career. Hear his story about how his poor judgement cost him everything but his focus now is on keeping kids from making those same poor choices..
Ken Hamlin - Ken played 8 years in the League with the Seahawks and Cowboys. Hear his stories from playing with Seahawks during their first Super Bowl appearance in 2005. Hear his opinions and insights on what's it like trying to play DB now with all of the rules changes.

This week on Thursday Night Tailgate our guests are: Nick Athan VP of Media Relations for Major League Football, former Patriots Pro Bowl RB Tony Collins, Cleveland Browns Pro Bowl TE Gary Barnidge, former Packers Pro Bowl Kicker Chris Jacke and former 49ers Super Bowl Champion DB Toi Cook.
Nick Athan - We'll get an update from Nick about the future of Major League of Football. This year will be a player development year, what does that mean and will there be actual league play in 2017? Is their financing sound? When will they announce the 8 cities where they will play? Nick will share their plans with us.
Tony Collins - We'll also hear more of Tony's memories from Super Bowl 20. What was it like when they arrived back in Boston after losing the Super Bowl? How did fans react then and how do fans react to him now?
Gary Barnidge - We'll talk to Gary about his recent trip to the Middle East along with several other players. We'll also get his thoughts on the frustration of playing in Cleveland, is there a plan in place? What are their thoughts about new head coach Hue Jackson? How does he feel about them signing RG3 at QB? We'll talk about that and much more.
Chris Jacke - We'll get Chris' thoughts on what it was like playing and kicking in Lambeau Field in the dead of winter. Could he empathize with Vikings Kicker Blair Walsh and his last second missed Field Goal that cost the Vikings a playoff victory of the Seahawks this year?
Toi Cook - We'll talk with Toi about being a part of the 49ers Super Bowl Championship team in 1994 and the interception he had in that game. We'll also hear his stories about playing alongside Hall of Famers like Deion Sanders, Steve Young, Jerry Rice and several others. What did Deion teach him? What was it like trying to cover Jerry Rice in practice? Hear Toi share those stories and more.

Beau Bock - We'll get Beau's take on how the Falcons have done so far with free agency, where he expects them to go in the draft and his prediction for the Braves this season.
Tony Mandarich and Tim Worley were 2 of the most highly touted players coming out of college in 1989. Both were Top 10 picks, Tony was the #2 overall selection, Tim was 7th. Hear them talk about how they went from the pinnacle on draft day and then substance abuse sabotaged their playing careers.Hear their stories and how they are now helping others to not make those same mistakes.
Rocky Bleier - We'll get Steelers legend Rocky Bleier's take on what the Steelers need to do to get over the hump next season and make a deeper run in the playoffs. We'll also get his thoughts on Martavis Bryant's suspension and how he would view a teammate hurting the team in that fashion.
Keith Millard - We'll talk with former Vikings Pro Bowl Defensive Tackle Keith Millard about why he originally shunned the NFL for the USFL even though he was the 13th overall pick by the Vikings in 1984. We'll get his thoughts on how devastating it was to have the Vikings get eliminated from the playoffs last season after the missed an easy field goal that would have beaten the Seahawks in the first round. We'll also talk to Keith about his current role as a Defensive Assistant with the Tennessee Titans and what it was like when he was inducted into the college football Hall of Fame

Carlton Mitchell – Carlton has been a member of the Browns, Jaguars, Cowboys, Bucs, Falcons, Edmonton Eskimos and Ottawa Redblacks. What’s life like going from team to team trying to catch on and make your pro football dream come true? He left the University of South Florida prior to his senior season to enter the draft. Looking back does he regret that decision?
Tony Collins – Now that NFL VP of Health and Safety Jeff Miller has admitted that there is a link between football and brain injuries what does that mean for the former players and the concussion lawsuit? We’ll get Tony’s take.
Zig Fracassi – We’ll get Zig’s take on the free agent moves so far including the latest on his Cowboys. Will they be contenders next season? Plus, why can't the Browns ever stop being the Browns?
Russell Baxter - We'll get Russell's thoughts on who the winners and losers are so far in free agency.
Walt Harris – Hear Walt sharing his thoughts on Chip Kelly taking over as Head Coach of his former team the 49ers and what it was like chasing Barry Sanders around twice a year and covering Deion Sanders when he started playing WR for the Cowboys.
Randy Minniear – We’ll talk to Randy about his college playing days at Purdue. In 1964 they beat #2 Michigan and in 1965 they beat top rated Notre Dame. Randy scored 3 touchdowns in those games. We’ll hear this stories around those games plus let us know all the great charity work that the NFL Alumni Association does with children’s charities across the country.

Zach Bauman - We'll talk to Zach about his career to this point plus how training camp is going as well as his thoughts on what this season could do for his long term goals.
Tony Collins – We’ll get Tony’s thoughts on why the Patriots are always able to get more out of their players than any other organization. We’ll also talk to him about what’s next now that the NFL has acknowledged the link between football and brain disorders.
Levon Kirkland – We’ll hear about Levon’s first season as LBs coach for the Arizona Cardinals. We’ll also get his thoughts on how he would view a teammate like Martavis Bryant being suspended for the upcoming season for a second substance abuse violation.
Roberto Clemente Jr. – He is the son of baseball Hall of Famer Roberto Clemente. We’ll talk about his father’s playing career and the legacy he left behind in Puerto Rico.
Chukie Nworkorie – We’ll talk with Chukie about what it was like to be adopted as a teenager after his father left to go back to Nigeria and his birth mother was unable to take care of him. We’ll also talk about what it was like to practice against Brett Favre.
Tarell Brown – We'll get Tarell’s thoughts on his time with the 49ers, Raiders & Patriots plus as a free agent what's next for him.

This week our guests on Thursday Night Tailgate are: Nate Boyer, Ed White, Leigh Steinberg, Jeff Reed and Dominic Rhodes.
Nate Boyer - Former Army Green Beret turned Long Snapper at the University of Texas and Seattle Seahawks. He'll be playing this year in the inaugural season of Major League Football trying to get another shot in the NFL. We'll talk to Nate about his tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan plus why he decided to go back to school and walk on to the University of Texas football team plus what it was like leading the team onto the field carrying the American Flag.
Leigh Steinberg – Leigh represents one of the Top 3 QBs in this year's draft, Paxton Lynch. We'll get Leigh's thoughts on where Paxton will go in the draft, plus what it takes to sign today's college stars vs. his first client Steve Bartkowski and we'll look back 20 years to the making of the move Jerry McGuire which is based on Leigh's life.
Tony Collins – We'll hear Tony's memories of playing in Super Bowl 20 against perhaps the greatest defense of all-time, the '85 Bears. We'll also get his thoughts on DeMarco Murray being traded to Titans and how the Patriots are able to reshuffle their roster every year and still be one of the top teams in the league.
Ed White – Ed is a 4 time Pro Bowler and 1 of only 10 players to play on all 4 Vikings Super Bowl teams in the '70's. He blocked for 2 Hall of Fame QBs in Fran Tarkenton and Dan Fouts. Two of his line mates are in the Pro Football Hall of Fame...why hasn't he gotten that call? We'll get his thoughts...
Jeff Reed – Jeff kicked in the league for 10 years. When the Steelers were cycling through Kickers earlier this season he wanted to make a comeback but Steelers' GM Kevin Colbert wouldn't return his calls. At the Pro Football Hall of Fame induction ceremonies fans were trying to goad him into a fight before security ushered him out. We'll hear Jeff's side of the story.
Dominic Rhodes - Former Colts RB who helped them win Super Bowl 41, rushing for 113 yards and a TD that gave them the lead that they wouldn't relinquish. Hear him also talking about his missteps off the field, take accountability for them and the message he relays to kids now.
