On this episode of Thurday Night Tailgate our guests are: former Colts, Dolphins & Ravens FB Roosevelt Potts, Prairie View A&M Head Coach Willie Simmons, former Dolphins & Bengals Pro Bowl LT Richmond Webb and NFL stats guru and TNT Hall of Famer Russell Baxter. Former Patriots Pro Bowl RB Tony Collins joined us to go through the Divisional round of the playoffs plus hear which players are doing great things in their communities in our Spotlight on the Positive segment.
Roosevelt Potts - We talked with Roosevelt about how he ended up playing his college ball at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, some of the great players he got to play with. He also shared his draft day story, how he ended up with the Colts, what it took for him to make the team and as a FB who were the hardest hitters that he went up against.
Willie Simmons - Coach did a retrospective on this season plus shared his thoughts on his 6 All-Conference players and what he thinks it will take for the playoff selection committee to take a harder look at Prairie View A&M next season.
Richmond Webb - Richmond shared his thoughts on the Dolphins' season, their offensive line and Jay Ajayi. He also told us about some of the gifts that Dan Marino and Jon Kitna gave the offensive line over years and some of his favorite games and the one that still bothers him to this day.
Russell Baxter - Russell broke down each of the Divisional playoff games for us and talked about a great new app called Snap Call that he'll be joining where he'll be doing in game analysis.
Tony Collins - Tony joined us as to do our picks for the Divisional playoff games.
We put our Spotlight on the Positive this week on Redskins WR Pierre Garcon and Jason Witten. Hear about the great things they're doing in their communities.

John Malecki - We got John's feedback on the antics from Vontaze Burfict and the Cincinnati Bengals again last Sunday vs. the Steelers. He talked about how the Bengals implode leads directly to Steeler victories. He also shared stories of some moments that he retaliated when he played in college at Pitt. We also talked about his custom furniture fabrication business (check it out on his site www.johnmalecki.com), and what's next for him.
Tony Collins - We went through our 5 Star Picks of the Week for Week 16 in the NFL season with Tony.
Victor Green - Victor shared his thoughts on his alma mater the University of Akron and the direction they are headed under Head Coach Terry Bowden. We also got his thoughts on the Jets situation including whether they should focus on developing Bryce Petty or Christian Hackenberg or if they should bring in a free agent QB over the off season. He also talked abou tthe difficulty of dealing with new coaching staffs every few years and his memory of his first pick 6 which came off Drew Bledsoe and the 90 yards pick 6 he had on his first game facing the Jets after they cut him and he went to New England.
Paul Alexander - We talked with Paul about the legacy of great broadcaster in Pittsburgh including Myron Cope, Lanny Frattare, Bill Hillgrove and others. We also talked about it being Ravens week in Pittsburgh and what that means and the Steelers need to develop another offensive threat besides Antonio Brown and Le'Veon Bell. I also got Paul's thoughts on why Mike Tomlins struggles with math and anything having to do with numbers.
Gene Lang - As a former member of the Broncos, we got Gene's insights into the frustrations that led to a postgame meltdown between the Broncos defense and offense last week. He added that those guys make so much money that they should be happy all the time. We also got his thoughts on his alma mater LSU and Offensive Coordinator Ed Orgeron taking over as Head Coach plus his thoughts on star players now deciding to sit out Bowl games. Lastly Gene shared what he might do if he ever saw Jerry Glanville again, after Glanville made them do 2 a days 6 days a week.

Billy Sample - Billy played in the major leagues from 1978-1986 for the Rangers, Yankees and Braves. After retiring he did some broadcasting for Turner Sports, he later became a screen play writer and starred in, directed and produce his own movie title Reunion 108. He's written a book title "A Year in Pinstripes...And Then Some" and now he's trying his hand at stand up comedy. We talked with Billy about his time playing in New York and asked what's harder, writing a book, losing to the Red Sox as a Yankee or doing stand up comedy? He also shared stories from the rest of his major league career from playing in the heat in Texas to finishing his career in Atlanta.
Lito Sheppard - Lito took us through how the University of Florida won out in his decision of where to play his college ball. We also talked about which college games stick out as the best win and the loss that still haunts him, plus what it was about playing the Cowboys that always brought out the best in him when he was with the Eagles.
Muhsin Muhammad - Moose played his college ball at Michigan State so we got his thoughts on Ohio State vs. Penn State getting into the college football playoffs. We also talked about which players had a positive impact on him when he joined the Panthers, his memory of the big night he had vs. Saints in '98 and much more...
Kerry Glenn - Kerry gave me some Christmas gift advice, talked about his alma mater the University of Minnesota and shared a hilarious story of what fellow DB Tim McKyer said as they were watching film preparing to play Bo Jackson and the Raiders.

Ernie Mills - We got Ernie's thoughts on his alma mater, the University of Florida and the job Jim McElwain is doing. He also shared his memories of playing with the Steelers of the 90's, including trying to make a name for himself while going against guys like Rod Woodson and Carnell Lake at practice.
Tony Collins - Hear our 5 Star Picks of the Week with former Patriots Pro Bowl RB Tony Collins.
Greg Lloyd - Greg talked about some of this generation's players always having a reason for why they're not playing well and not being open to coaching or listening to what guys like him have to say. He also talked about the chip he had on his shoulder while he played and that he never saw Neil O'Donnell again after Super Bowl 30.
Randy Fuller - Shared his memories of those 90's Steelers teams including what it was like playing alongside Greg Llloyd and Ernie Mills. He also talked about trying to defend against Kordell Stewart when he was playing the Slash role as well as his memories of 2 teammates who recently were inducted into the Hall of Fame, Jerome Bettis and Kevin Greene.

Mary Seau - Mary has started a Foundation dedicated to research and education about concussions and CTE. She talked about how Junior had planned to end his playing career after 7 years but financial obligations forced him to play much longer. She said his first concussion came when he was very young, playing in Pop Warner. He had at least 8 concussions, that she knows of playing in the NFL. We talked about all that plus what she's doing to educate today's players.
Tony Collins - We went through our 5 Star Picks of the Week for Weekk 13 in the NFL with former Patriots Pro Bowl RB Tony Collins.
Lanny Frattare - Lanny was the radio and TV Play by Play Announcer for the Pittsburgh Pirates for over 30 years. We talked about his relationship with Pirates legendary Announcer Bob Prince, his start with the Pirates alongside another broadcasting legend Milo Hamilton and his memories of the 1979 World Champion Pirates.
Dina Parise - Dina startd out competing in gymnastics and figure skating. Her dream was to dance with the Ice Capades, a dream she would realize for 4 years. She took us through how she went from there to being a drag racing champion and explained how dancing with the Ice Capades and drag racing are actually similar.
Matt Bahr - Matt updated us on the work he's doing with Harvard University and their study on CTE and concussions. We also talked about his induction into the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame and what has led to the resurgence of Penn State this year in college football.

Andra Davis - We got Andra's thoughts on his alma mater, the University of Florida, and the job their Head Coach Jim McElwain is doing. We also talked about the Browns and what they need to get things together and if Andra thinks they will give new Head Coach Hue Jackson 4-5 years to rebuild their roster.
Tony Collins - We went through our 5 Star Picks of the Week for Week 11 in the NFL.
Chip Caray - We talked to Chip about what it was like for him to be in Chicago and working the World Series. We also talked about what winning the World Series would have meant to his grandfather Harry, and as Chip mentions, he really didn't know him that well. We also got Chip's thoughts on the Braves and the new stadium they'll move into next season.
Russell Baxter - Russell shared his thoughts on the season the Cowboys are having, what's next for Tony Romo, the rejuvenated Miami Dolphins, and much more.
Randy McMichael - Randy gave us his thoughts on his alma mater the University of Georgia and the job new Head Coach Kirby Smart is doing. He told us which of the 3 teams he played for he identifies himself with and which one was a black hole. Randy does some local Atlanta radio now so he shared his thoughts on the Falcons and what they need to do to make it to the playoffs.

On this episode of Thursday Night Tailgate our guests are: former Cowboys RB and Head Coach of the Broncos, Giants and Falcons Dan Reeves, former Patriots Pro Bowl RB Tony Collins, former University of Georgia star QB and later Head Coach Ray Goff and Super Agent Leigh Steinberg.
Dan Reeves - We talked with Coach Reeves about his thoughts on the Falcons and what they need to do to improve their defense to make a deep run in the playoffs, plus what he would do when Tony Romo gets healthy if he were the Cowboys Head Coach. We also talked about his experience in Super Bowl 6 as a member of the Cowboys when they beat the Dolphins in the 1971 season and how that Super Bowl compares to spectacle we see today.
Tony Collins - He shared his 5 Star Picks of the Week for Week 9 in the NFL.
Ray Goff - We heard Ray Goff's insights into the University of Georgia's season, his thoughts on new Head Coach Kirby Smart and why they are struggling this year. He also told the story about how he was able to convince Terrell Davis, who was playing at Long Beach State when they shut the program down due to budgetary issues, to come across country and play at Georgia.
Leigh Steinberg - Leigh talked about the program he's involved with called Project Hear Us (www.projecthearus.org) to help kids who are dealing with all forms of bullying. He also talked about his client Paxton Lynch, the incredible contract he negotiated for Steve Young when he joined the LA Express of the USFL and the state of boxing and if it has a future.
