Hear Gene Lang, Tony Collins, Terrence Edwards, Garrett Webster & Mike McCormack talking NFL draft, Georgia football, the heartbreak of CTE and being trapped inside the NFL.

On this week's edition of Thursday Night Tailgate our guests are: former Broncos & Falcons RB Gene Lang, fomer Patriots Pro Bowl RB Tony Collins, former University of Georgia and CFL All-Star WR Terrence Edwards, Garrett Webster son of Mike Webster and Mike McCormack Jr. who's father was a Hall of Fame Offensive Lineman for the Browns. He's also the author of the new book "Born Fanatic, My Life in the Grip of the NFL."
Gene Lang shared his thoguhts on what the Broncos need to do in the draft and if Case Keenum can be the guy lead them back into contention next season in the AFC West. He also talked about He also talked about, why they came up short in back to back Super Bowls, what it was like playing for Dan Reeves vs. Jerry Glanville and how odd it was to come back to play in Mile Stadium as a member of the Falcons after being a Bronco for so many years.
Tony Collins shared his thoughts on what the Patriots should be looking for in the draft and how much he'd like to see them draft Louisville QB Lamar Jackson.
Terrence Edwards gave us his thoughts on why Georgia came up a little short in the National Championship game and what to look for from them next season. He also talked about his CFL career, the administrative error that led to him becoming a free agent and what clicked in Winnipeg that led him to being an All-Star WR there for several years.
Garrett Webster shared the heartbreaking story of his father's last few years. He talked about what it was like for he and his family to deal with the drastic mood swings his father would go through, the difficulty in understanding what exactly it was that was causing the issues and then ultimately having Dr. Amalu wanting to study his brain. Garrett also talked about the battle they are having with the NFL to be included in the Concussion lawsuit. The settlement states that no players can be included if they passed away before 2006 and Mike Webster died in 2002. How can it be that the guy who Dr. Amalu discovered CTE on which led to the lawsuit, his family can't be part of the settlement?
Mike McCormack shared stories from his father's Hall of Fame career in Cleveland and what it was like for him to block for Otto Graham and Jim Brown. He told stories of the struggles he had being the Head Coach of failing Eagles and Colts teams in the 70s and early 80s but the triumphs he had as President of the Carolina Panthers in the mid 90s.
