Hear NFL Legends: Gus Frerotte, Tony Collins, Terry Hanratty, Harvey Armstrong, and Walter Carter sharing stories from their college and NFL playing days...

This week our guests are: former Redskins & Vikings Pro Bowl QB Gus Frerotte, former Patriots Pro Bowl RB Tony Collins, former Steelers QB Terry Hanratty, former Eagles & Colts NT Harvey Armstrong and former Bucs DE Walter Carter.
Gus Frerotte - Gus explained why a kid from outside of Pittsburgh played his college ball at Tulsa over Pitt or Penn State. He also talked about how he gained the starting job with the Redskins over 1st round pick Heath Shuler, what it was like leading the Redskins to their first winning season in the post Joe Gibb era and the great work he's doing now with a company called RC21X that helps assess our brain functionality.
Tony Collins - We got Tony's memories of former NT Lester Williams who passed away this week at the age of 58. He also talked about the Patriots purchase of two 767 airplanes and what it was like traveling back when he played.
Terry shared his memories of playing for Ara Parseghian at Notre Dame. He also talked in detail about Rocky Bleier, who he played with at Notre Dame and in Pittsburgh. He shared what it was like watching Rocky fight his way back from the injuries he sustained in Vietnam and the support Rocky got from Mr. Rooney. We also talked about Joe Greene plus what it was like facing the Steelers after he was released and signed by the Tampa Bucs during their inaugural season in 1976.
Harvey Armstrong - Harvey talked for the first time about the money he received to go SMU plus other things like the new cars got his sophomore and senior seasons. He said those sorts of things were rampant in the Southwest Conference at all the schools back then. Hear all that and more...
Walter Carter - Walter shared his memories of being a part of Bobby Bowden's first team at Florida State. He talked about how Bowden convinced him to scrap going to Miami and play at Florida State instead. He talked about their 47-0 loss to Miami in their 3rd game and Bowden promised they would never lose like that again. He also talked about how Bowden got them to believe that they were never out of game, no matter how far down there were.
